Before you scan

• Use soft, even light. Avoid direct flash and strong shadows.
• Ask the person to smile and keep their head still for the entire scan.
• Use the rear 1x camera. Keep the full head and upper neck large in frame while moving the phone at a steady distance.
• Start at the front, move slowly around one side, pass through the front, then cover the other side.
• Lower the phone to upper-neck level and aim slightly upward so the underside of the chin is visible. Sweep across both sides of the jaw.
• Return to the front, move modestly above eye level, then finish at the front.
• Move at your own pace. Tap Stop and process only after the complete path is captured.
